Right Formula worked with Logitech and McLaren to produce the Logitech G Challenge: Europe as part of the bid to find McLaren’s next esports driver. Created as part of the pioneering McLaren Shadow Project, Right Formula worked with Logitech to plan and execute a bespoke Logitech esports competition to feed into the McLaren campaign, inviting people to sign up to participate from across Europe.
Over one thousand people took part, resulting in a final eight drivers who took to the stage at the Paris Games Week to battle it out for the chance to become McLaren’s next sim racer for Formula One Esports, 2019.
The event included ten custom built racing simulators by Logitech and Playseat, two HTC Vive setups for virtual reality racing, as well as professional coaching from one of the world’s best sim racing teams, Oscaro.
